Track 1: Pai I wrote this song after chilling out on a hammock in @nortonalmanguitar back garden one morning in October 2022, watching the world go by in Pai, Thailand. There was such a blissful serenity about that morning, that after some time I came inside to the studio and wrote Pai that morning Later on I took the instrumental track to @latos.latos, a Pai musician and friend, and we started to sing over it, and just like that… it was born. Originally this track was going to be named Birth, but right towards the end of the album process, I knew the name had to be Pai, because that was where the album all started, where the sound of the song came from (I asked my brother, producer, mixer, master, @b.n_webster to sing harmonies on this song, 2 days before the show… he smashed it)

Well… that’s it, The Heart of A Dying Star is out 🥳 Can’t put into words how thankful I am to have such wonderful people helping out on this journey, thanks to @nortonalmanguitar for helping me start this journey in Pai 3 years ago, thanks @b.n_webster for the 1 year ride putting this thing together, and playing 3 pianos at once… thanks @dr__pickle for being steady with that shaker and ripping the guitar, thanks @simon_says_1.0 for flying over from Austria to play on the album launch, to @zoe.linhtran for your endless support and love, and designing the album artwork, mum and dad for coming to every gig I’ve played this year in the UK and believing in me from the beginning. Onto the next chapter of my life… I look forward to playing these songs for you in October Hoi An 😘 🇻🇳
